We make sure landowners and their neighbors don’t leave money on the table
American energy has been a political football since the 1970s, tossed back and forth between both "teams' in Congress. Although good policy has come out of these debates at times, when the dust settles, special interests have come away with the win more often than not, not everyday people. Meanwhile, gas prices go up and down like a seesaw and electric bills always seem to get a little bigger.

Today, renewable energy is all the rage - batteries, solar farms, windmills. They seem to be popping up everywhere you look. It's not a big surprise when you consider the subsidies - subsidies paid for by American taxpayers. It is not unreasonable to ask who benefits and to wonder how much of this supposedly great bounty is returned to the community where the infrastructure is being built. No doubt these companies talk a big game about how they put new taxes into local schools, how they create jobs and how, in general, they spread the money around. That’s all well and good, but you have to ask yourself whether these benefits are proportional to the large profits companies expect to make over the decades their facilities will be in operation. The fact is that these companies wouldn’t be doing this, if they didn’t expect great returns. Meanwhile, rural communities are often turned upside down by strife.

At Diversified Harvest Partners, we think communities should be better informed about what leverage they have in these negotiations with Big Solar, Big Wind, Big Battery, Big Hydrogen, Big Carbon Capture, Big You-Name-It.
We’re here to make sure landowners and their neighbors don’t leave money on the table. We honor the generations of landowners who have been the stewards of this land, have fed the world and relied upon their own wits to make a living. We respect that deeply. We are here to help. We can lend our team’s considerable experience in negotiating land deals between energy companies and farmers, as well as our expertise in navigating the development process. We want you and your neighbors to get the maximum benefit you’re entitled to, while protecting your property and interests. We also have the ability to be advocates for your neighbors, so you don’t get caught in the middle of anything. We’re not trying to take sides in this. That’s for communities to decide for themselves. We just want to make sure that landowners and communities that do decide to get into the energy business get ahead too.
